Job Specifications for PeopleSoft Resource; - PeopleSoft Security

Client is in need of a PeopleSoft resource for a temporary assignment of 4-6 months. This resource needs to be proficient in PeopleSoft Security design and configuration for 8.9.

ADC has deployed the PeopleSoft application version FSCM8.9 MP12 with the following active modules:

Job Skill Requirements:

No. Description Expectations
1 Understand PeopleSoft Architecture concepts and terminology 4-5 Years of experience working in design, configuration, deployment and support of PeopleSoft systems.
2 Working technical and functional knowledge of the PeopleSoft application. For most of the modules defined above and ability to self learn and manage if any gaps.
3 Read and interpret design specifications at functional and technical design spec level. Ability to interpret specification and convert into PeopleSoft solutions meeting of exceeding business expectations
4 Peoplecode design and implementation experience 4-5 Years of experience working in design, configuration, deployment and support of PeopleSoft systems.
5 App Engine design and implementation. 2-3 Years of experience with App Engine and Designer
6 Familiar with App Designer. 2-3 Years of experience with App Engine and Designer
7 SQR design and implementation. 2-3 Years of experience with SQR design and implementation
8 Page, record, and field implementation experience, including scroll buffer management and derived records. 2-3 Years of experience
9 Experienced in PeopleSoft Security Design and Structures 4-5 Years of experience in designing PeopleSoft Security structures and deployment.
10 Ability to work independently and in team structures Able to work with others effectively and able to manage assigned tasks.
11 Excellent communications (verbal and written) skills The resource may be assigned to draft procedures and/or present to others design solutions approach.

Project Title: Senior Search Developer (Lucene or Solr)

Requirements:
MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

The candidate should have:
• At least 4 years experience in building search applications using Lucene or Solr
• A minimum of 4 years experience in Java/J2EE development for large-scale enterprise applications;
• Strong knowledge of major search engines
• Strong knowledge of XML Technologies
• Experience with AJAX, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS;
• Experience with relational databases preferably Oracle;
• Strong Knowledge of BEA Weblogic, UNIX, Solaris, and Linux
• Ability to plan technical architecture and develop documentation;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required;

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
• Experience working on government technology projects with the City of New York is preferable.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
References should be provided from at least two former or current clients where the contractor has performed the same or similar work. Provide the name, address, phone number and e-mail address of the reference as well as a brief description of the work performed.
Responsibilities:

The Senior Search Developer will:
• Participate in development of systems design emphasizing the search requirements of the application
• Expertise in Lucene and/or SOLR
• Coding and designing the search elements of the application
• Perform unit testing and fixes during testing Phase
• Document coding and testing efforts
• Using best practices for development
• Perform unit testing and fixes during testing Phase
• Create/document deployment and operational procedures

Deliverables:
• All documentation regarding system design
• Build and unit tested modules for the system
• Use cases and misuse cases for handoff to QA team

Cognos Analyst/Developer
Location: Alameda, CA
Duration: 2 Years

RESPONSIBILITIES: Accountable for translating the business process and its requirements into a business solution. Accountable for requirements, design, testing and implementation deliverables. Models the business process, reconciling the process and data models. Designs the application architecture. Provides business leadership to the developers on the project teams.

COMPETENCIES: Prepare strategic business requirements, uses accepted concepts, standards, SDLC methodologies, and toolsets; fully utilize data and process modeling techniques along with workflow analysis techniques; consult with customer and systems personnel to determine type of information to be processed; devise data verification methods and standard systems procedures; define and analyze needs and information requirements; prepare charts, tables, and diagrams to assist in analyzing problems, utilizing various business, scientific, engineering and mathematical techniques; plan projects; estimate project requirements; communicate well with customers at a level they understand; develop in-depth understanding of business areas where existing or modernized programs could provide solutions. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Business Administration or equivalent training or work experience; knowledge of data modeling; knowledge of business functions supported by a major application system or multiple smaller systems.
